Callies Billet Main Caps & Cap Straps

Designed to improve block strength and increase bearing life.

Callies billet steel main caps (for Chevy only), are fully annealed and heat treated for greater tensile strength. The material used has expansion characteristics similar to cast iron. Callies 350 center main bearing caps are machined with a 22 degree outer bolt angle to provide a narrower overall width, allowing more oil pan clearance and the use of a dipstick when necessary. Direct Replacement 350-4 bolt caps are available with straight outer bolts.

Billet 400 center main caps have an 18 degree outer hole angle. The strength of these caps will increase the rigidity and durability of the 400 block. Our 350 main caps are available for both 2 and 4 bolt register width. Callies can also supply billet front and rear caps for both 350 and 400 SB Chevy main bearings.
