National Statistics show that the largest mistake in engine component selection is with incorrect
Camshafts, often
resulting in a poor match to other engine components.
Such poor combinations result in the inability for motors to reach their maximum HP, torque, and RPM potential, and in some cases damaging the motor. This becomes even more important in stroker engines where the stroke, rod length, total cubes,
and compression have been changed from standard OEM specifications.
Starting in 1968, Flatlander Racing has grown to one of the nation's top Camshaft designers, with extensive experience in performance and stroker motors. We
utilize our designed computer program along with thousands of Dyno selections run in our shops. If you are not Camshaft savvy and would like to take advantage of
our extensive experience and purchase a Camshaft you must be prepared to give us some engine specifications first.
Computer dyno testing and comparisons take many
hours to complete, so this service is limited to people
allowing Flatlander to make the professional choice for them.
