COMP Cams Magnum Belt Drive Systems COMP Cams Belt Drives represent the ultimate in cam timing systems. They provide competition engine builders with the most accurate valve train components available today. Our Belt Drives are designed to absorb a significant amount of crankshaft harmonics, which will affect valve motion if they reach the valve train. And, the COMP Cams Belt Drives require less power to operate than conventional belt drives. Last but no least, our belts are proven to be more durable than either gear or chain drives. They are available for both internal (wet) and external (dry) applications.
