Milodon engine studs are premium grade, race quality studs that are created from aircraft quality 8740 chrome moly steel right in Milodon's own plant. They are ground and thread rolled after heat treat to assure the exacting tolerances that Milodon requires for all their fasteners. This assures strength and consistent torque readings. The tensile strength of these premium fasteners is 190,000 PSI which is more than adequate for the most demanding of applications.
