Illustration #103 shows the unique positioning of the power steering pump and alternator down by the crank dampner. The location of the brackets allows the power steering pump
and alternator to be installed as close as possible to the crank shaft dampner. This allows you to stay well inside 24" stringer centers. It also keeps the V-belts much shorter in length than most other bracketry. This eliminates high RPM belt derailment.

Our brackets can be used with stock dampner V-belt pulleys for standard use. IMCO has designed an underdrive pulley for high RPM usage to prevent overdriving your power steering pump or alternator. Our alternator tensioning bracket is 3/8" thick, 3 times thicker than standard tensioners. This prevents failure. The alternator mounting bracket is constructed out of 1/2" steel, and our power steering pump bracket is 3/8" thick steel. These brackets are all black apoxy coated.
