We would like our customers to be aware of the advantages of Sound Advantage. In testing this product, we found that the propeller creates a vacuum through the propeller hub and wishbone. This action is adequate for medium speeds. But, for top speeds that require more power, you need more exhaust flow which Sound Advantage provides simply by diverting the exhaust pressures through the transom and the wishbones.      This system is unique because of its simplicity. It is fast and simple to install. The system requires a 12-volt power supply.      This 12-volt system simply allows you to touch your switch momentarily for any amount of exhaust sound you wish. Unlike other systems created by other manufacturers, IMCO's Sound Advantage does not have to be just opened or closed. Its unique design allows the operator to position butterfly at any position. This is because of our unique Worm Gear Drive. Our aluminum casted "Y" pipes are apoxy coated outside to prevent corrosion. This works with any 4" exhaust system BB or SB.      Middle photograph shows Sound Advantage connected to wishbone which connects to the outdrive. Notice the tie bar connecting the "Y" pipes. This allows one motor to operate butterfly in opposite "Y" pipe.      The system, as shown in photograph #92, is a complete stock Mercury manifold system to illustrate what Sound Advantage looks like on a stock manifold.      Photograph #93 shows the stock cast iron Mercury manifold with Powerflow Stainless Steel Riser Pipe can approximately give you 8 to 10 additional horsepower and torque. Exceptionally great for European swim step transom. This system is designed for low profile transom boats. The valve has a 180° bend and sweeps 90° downward as the picture shows.
