"H" Beam Rods
SB & BB
Chevy/Chrysler/Ford
These rods are perfect for racers with engines under 750 horsepower looking for an extremely durable connecting rod. These rods feature 8740 premium material rod bolts and bronze pin end. All Small Block rods will clear a stock (1.030") base circle camshaft by a minimum of .060" when used in a 3.875" stroke engine. Crankshafts in excess of 3.875" will require a small (.875") base circle camshaft.
- Manufactured in 4340 forgings
- Heat treated, stress relieved, shot
peened and magnafluxed
- Weight matched sets +/- 1.5 grams
- Cap Fasteners are premium 8740 alloy
7/16" ARP cap screws
(3/8" for Ford)
- Horsepower range for SBC/Ford rods is 700 HP at 8000 RPM
- Horsepower range for BBC rods is
900 HP at 8000 RPM
- Horsepower range for Chrysler rods is
800 HP at 8000 RPM

long. The pin bore on the 14051-8 is .9281". Stock LS-1 pins are .945"
