Chevy/Chrysler 360/Ford
Forged from aircraft quality 4340
material. Each rod is profiled around the entire beam to remove stress
risers and render the lightest finished piece on the market. ARP 8740
material "Wave Loc"(tm) rod bolts and 12 point nuts are used
exclusively. An excellent rod for engines up to 500 hp SBC, 650 hp
BBC.
- Forged from aircraft quality 4340
material
- Manufactured in our own CNC
machining centers
- Entire beam and cap area is profiled
to remove stress risers and render the lightest possible rod
- Shot peened after machining
- Cap Fasteners are 8740 alloy
3/8" (SBC/Chrysler), and 7/16" (BBC), ARP cap screws
- Premium Ampco pin bushings
- Horsepower range for SBC rods is 550 HP at 8000 RPM
- Horsepower range for BBC rods is 750 HP at
7500 RPM
- Horsepower range for Chrysler rods is
550 HP at
8000 RPM
- Horsepower range for Ford 4.6 rods is 550 HP at 8000 RPM
