Intake Adapter Kits 351W Block/351W Heads/302 Intake The 351W engine has grown in popularity. Who could have guessed that Street, Strip and Circle Track car owners would have grown to love the 351W engine? Below are two of the more popular applications. The two side plates are billet aluminum and the lifter valley tray is cast aluminum that has been powder coated with an aluminum color to help our customers keep their rides looking just right! (Distributor Kit may be needed. See below!)

Intake Adapter Kits: Part# AP-01  Price $289 Part# AP-01G (w/gaskets) Price $312 The AP-01 is for the cast iron head and any OEM replacement head. Use with Heads that have OEM port and bolt location, such as: Cast Iron Form Heads and Dart Iron (we do a special port for Twisted Wedge and Edelbrock Performer) Part# AP-04  Price $289 Part# AP-04G (w/gaskets) Price $312 The AP-04 is for the taller aftermarket ports. Use with TFS Street Heat, Dart Aluminum, Avenger and the Canfield Heads. This Adapter Kit has been matched to a Fel-Pro 1262 Intake Gasket. A shorter version of this plate is supplied for the Ford Motorsport GT40 head. Part# AP-04TH  Price $295 Part# AP-04THG (w/gaskets) Price $319 The AP-04TH is used when you have a tall port (2.1) Like the Victor Jr. or Canfield and you want to use something that was meant to be for OEM designed a few years ago. Chances are that there wouldn’t be enough material to port it out all the way, so PME designed this plate .220 to help raise up the OEM intake into a place it could do the most good.

Distributor Kit Fits Ford 351W, 351C, 351M, 400M, 429 and 460 Sometimes installing an adapter plate, like the PME AP-01 causes a distributor clearance problem. New valley plates may be thicker requiring an extended distributor length. A solution is the installation of a PME Distributor Kit. DK-01 increases the height of the distributor by 2 1/2". PME will modify this part for the MSD billet distributor at no additional charge. MUST READ! We do not know all of the 100's of different distributors made for these Ford motors over the years. You can order the adapter kit without the distributor kit, and if you end up needing it, you can call us. Or you can place an order for the distributor kit at the same time and we will be more than happy to credit you for the cost of the kit if you do not need it (shipping cost not refundable).

Distributor Kit: Part# DK-01  Price $89.99 Fits Ford 351W, 351C, 351M, 400M, 429 and 460 This Distributor Kit is designed to fit the Ford stock shaft size of 0.5315-0.5320 and a pilot size of 0.5145-0.5150. The length is also critical to proper installation. PME will provide you with a detailed instruction sheet for proper assembly.
