Intake Adapter Kits 351M/400M Block - 351M/C-2V Heads - 351C 2V Intake When rebuilding you Modified Ford engine, why not go for a different intake manifold? This is easily done by purchasing the PME Adapter Kit that allows the use of a 351 Cleveland Intake Manifold. Because the 351M and 400M are the same deck height, this kit works for either engine. 351C 2-V heads and the 351 modified heads are almost identical, so pick the ones that suit your needs. The Intake Adapter Kit is 3 pieces. This kit usually does not require a distributor kit, but the 351-400M distributor has a very short housing. If you desire, you may use a 351W distributor that has a taller housing and install your modified gear. If this is not an option for you, PME sells the distributor kit that will cure any clearance problems. See Distributor Kit Below!

Distributor Kit Fits Ford 351W, 351C, 351M, 400M, 429 and 460 Sometimes installing an adapter plate, like the PME AP-01 causes a distributor clearance problem. New valley plates may be thicker requiring an extended distributor length. A solution is the installation of a PME Distributor Kit. DK-01 increases the height of the distributor by 2 1/2". PME will modify this part for the MSD billet distributor at no additional charge. MUST READ! We do not know all of the 100's of different distributors made for these Ford motors over the years. You can order the adapter kit without the distributor kit, and if you end up needing it, you can call us. Or you can place an order for the distributor kit at the same time and we will be more than happy to credit you for the cost of the kit if you do not need it (shipping cost not refundable).
