Aluminum Alternator Pulleys
B&B Aluminum Pulleys are intended for applications where engine speeds exceed those of the average
passenger car. In addition to reducing the power robbing parasitic drag brought on by turning belt driven accessories
faster than necessary. These reduction pulleys actually bring some systems, such as the water pump back into an RPM range
where they do an efficient job. Other accessories, like alternators and power steering pumps were never meant to run
a high RPM and consequently are prone to early failure when subjected to constant
over speeds.
All B&B Pulleys are precision cast, then machined to exacting tolerances. These deep groove pulleys are constructed to properly
align with existing pulleys and contain belts at racing engine speeds.
