  • ROSS pistons listed in this section were designed for blown and turbocharged engines, have thicker ring lands, more massive pin bosses and larger internal radii to withstand the additional cylinder pressure that forced induction engines put out.
  • Ideal for street, marine, and drag racing applications.
  • Pins included are .927 diameter x 2.950 length.
  • All pins supplied are aircraft quality and are are retained by double spiro lox, or can be press fitted into rods.
  • In extremely high horsepower applications, ROSS tapered bore pins are recommended. Use Part # 927-04-29
  • Ring grooves are 5/64, 5/64 3/16.
  • Lower compression ratio is achieved by utilizing more deck clearance then normal (flat top "down in the hole") and is based on 64cc heads.
  • Compression ratio based on 9.025 block height with .042 head gasket.
