IMPORTANT INFORMATION! PLEASE READ!
Flatlander Racing Stroker Kits are made with only newly OEM manufactured parts. No off-set ground Iron cranks that might weaken the assemblies are used. We have reviewed these stroker kits and feel that the information is correct. ALL kits should be reviewed for accuracy before purchasing. Flatlander Racing has used most of these kits in our three large performance shops. All kits require balancing prior to assembly - Flatlander can balance your assembly before shipping for an extra fee. Most kits will balance internally and will require an "O" or Detroit balancer, flywheel, and flexplate. We have taken care to include rods in our kits that will clear the cam, although some applications may require small-base circle cams. We have found that most clearancing for these kits requires from none to a lot of grinding on pan rails, and the bottom of cylinders. Some large stroker kits may require stroker pans.  Note: Compressions based on F/T. Most kits available w/higher or lower compression
NOTE ON CAMSHAFT SELECTION: We have found on our Dyno that stroker motor camshafts most often perform better with all the parameters of increased displacement, rod length, compressions, and added stroker than cams that were designed for stock applications. Flatlander is one of the largest cam designers for stroker kits in the USA, and can supply a custom cam for your application.
